American DJ have produced a baby brother for their Dekker light effect: the Mini Dekker. This light derby will have the room enlivened with numerous dancing beams of light from its two 10W RGBW LEDs and ingenious optics. The added strobe effects make the Mini Dekker a serious addition to your lighting setup. Its metal housing is as light as possible (under 2 kilos!) so that it is easy to bring anywhere.
American DJ Dekker: combined light effect
A light effect as complete as this Mini Dekker requires proper control options. Thankfully, it offers several control modes. There's a music-controlled mode so that it is controlled by the music via its built-in microphone. Additionally, there's also a master/slave mode, which is great if you want to use several of these fixtures simultaneously. The stand-alone mode, lastly, lets the Mini Dekker run one of its pre-programmed shows. DMX allows you to control the Dekker yourself via 12 channels according to the DMX512 protocol. Further still, it has modes for colour fades, colour changes and fixed colours.

Ik heb er twee gekocht bij Bax en ik kan zeggen dat ze geweldig zijn.
Ongelofelijk veel licht voor zo'n klein goedkoop lichteffectje, ondanks dat de ventilator veel herrie maakt, dit is een lichteffect dat bij uptempo muziek tot zijn recht komt.
Is geschikt voor kleine maar ook voor grotere events.
Ik gebruik ze master/slave en dat werkt perfect.
Levering door door BAX uiteraard weer geweldig, 5 sterren.

Mooi effect, maar wat een herrie!
Ik had twee van deze fixtures besteld en ontvangen. Na ze te hebben aangesloten was de ventilator al goed hoorbaar. Na een minuut of 10 werd het geluid van de ventilatoren gewoon een ergernis. Ze maken per stuk nog meer geluid dan mijn 1000Mw Laserworld laser. En dat wil echt wat zeggen.
Voor mij persoonlijk is het onbegrijpelijk dat zo'n relatief kleine fixture zoveel herrie moet maken.
Het effect opzich is zeer de moeite waard, afwisselend en dynamisch.
Wie zich niet ergert aan een fixture die herrie maakt heeft hier echt een goede koop aan.

ADJ Mini Dekker is een geweldig apparaat, maar heeft één belangrijk probleem: de super luidruchtige ventilator. Daarnaast ben je, als je het apparaat in stand-alone modus gebruikt, beperkt tot slechts één show. Daarom is het alleen aan te raden om het via DMX te gebruiken, aangezien de meeste functies niet stand-alone beschikbaar zijn.

ADJ Mini Dekker is a great device but has one significant issue which is the super noisy fan. Besides that, if you use the device in stand-alone mode you are also limited to one show only, therefore it's only recommend to use it via DMX as the majority of features are not available in standalone.
